Christianity in the Workplace
Your Faith On The Job
This 12 lesson course relates faith to practical and ethical issues on the job. The focus of the entire course is learning how to be like the Lord Jesus Christ in the secular workplace; the relevance and importance of which cannot be overstated especially in the post-Christian world that we live in.

Note from the Authors:
“There is a lot more to being a Christian in business than just responding to ethical issues.” We made this point to Bob Samms, Executive Director of Training In Ministry (iTIM), during a breakfast meeting a few months ago. Bob had been teaching a Sunday School class on ethics in business and the workplace.
We pointed out that the key issues in business include gaining competitive advantage, achieving excellence, and seeking personal and corporate renewal. These subjects have been popularized in recent books by Michael Porter of the Harvard Business School, Competitive Advantage, Competitive Strategies; by Bob Waterman and Tom Peters, In Search of Excellence; and by Waterman, The Renewal Factor.
After a long discussion of the various issues and opportunities facing a Christian at work, Bob responded with a challenge: Why don't we write a book for lay people on the subject of Christianity in the business world? The book would be used to stimulate discussion in small groups, Bible studies, or Sunday school classes. From there, Christianity in the Workplace was born.
